Cellar Selection Bottle

Domaine des Aubuisieres Vouvray 70
Loire valley 2011, France
Arguably the most renowned wines on earth, the classed growths of Bordeaux continue to epitomize the power and complexity Bordeaux blends are capable of. Revealing black fruits, austere with cedar notes, tea leaf, tight palate, silky tannins, lovely length and poise. Background oak.

Glenguin Ironbark Tannat 72
Hunter Valley 2009, NSW
This ancient noble variety from south-west France has found the ideal Australian home at Glenguin. Tannat's small thick skinned berries add terrific purple colour, spicy damson fruit characters and multiple layers of soft dusty tannins to this interesting wine

Vacqueyras, la ligiere 75
Rhone valley France, 2010
Lifted and fresh on the nose. Round and supple. Exotic and liqueur-like with lots of ambition and care.Grenache, Syrah, Mourvédre

Chateau bellegrave Saint Emilion 76
Bordeaux France, 2009
Light to medium bodied, very smooth, delivering discreet red fruit with a soft hint of earth in the background.Firm and gentle tannins. Not very complex, but rather enjoyable with this almost silky texture and elegant balance.2009 was an excellent year in Bordeaux.

Mistletoe Reserve Shiraz 88
Hunter Valley 2009, NSW - 5 star rated winery
The nose is savoury with stem, blackberry and understated cherry. The palate has vibrant red and dark fruits with spice and tar on the mid to back palate that will continue to evolve over the next 10 to 15 years in the cellar.

Chateau Belloy 88
Canon Fronsac 2007 cuvee prestige - Gold medal at Qinhuangdao international wine competition
An attractive deep red, nearly black in colour with delicately woody fragrances of blackcurrant, blackberry and morello cherry. On the palate, well-developed tannins of great maturity, with a lingering aromatic aftertaste. Pair with red meats and strong cheeses.

Domaine du mas Blanc Signature 90
Collioure 2010, France
10% roussanne, 10% marsanne, 40% grenache blanc, 10% tourbat et 30% grenache gris. beautiful complexity of fruits and flowers on the nose. Dry, aromatic and iodized mouth. very attractive sharpness and a beautiful length.

Geoff Merrill reserve Shiraz 92
MClaren valley 2005, SA
The palate displays fresh fruits and a silky texture with very fine tannins. Toasted smoky oak, well balanced acid and concentrated fruit flavours provide a great structure to this wine. Youthful and vibrant, the complexities that only bottle age can bring are just beginning to develop.

Louis Jadot Pouilly Fuisse 95
Chardonnay 2008, France
Ripe, supple and of medium body, this classic expression of Pouilly-Fuissé shows vibrant Chardonnay fruit flavors with notes of melon and minerals, gently touched with oak, ending in a fresh, silky finish.

By Farr Chardonnay 2009 100
Geelong, victoria
A wine of profound length and sophistication here! Seamless integration of fruit, minerality, and balanced French oak. Fruit comes from the same vineyard as the Sangreal " holy grail" pinot grown on the magic dust Has had all the best vineyard and winemaking practices used; Dijon clones, whole-bunch pressed, wild fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation, 11 months on lees in 30% new French oak.

Château la Nerthe 105
Châteauneuf du Pape 2007, France
Composed of 48% Grenache, 28% Syrah, and 14% Mourvedre, 62% was barrel-aged and the rest spent time in large wood foudres before blending. Excellent aromatics of lavender, licorice, blueberry, black raspberry, and new saddle leather are followed by a ripe, full-bodied, elegant, accessible wine offering an admirable concoction of rich fruit, a substantial, full-bodied mouthfeel, and silky tannins.

Michel redde & fils La moynerie 110
Pouilly fume 2009, France
Lovely nose with stone fruits and a pleasant minerality. Fresh acidity less on the foreground letting other flavours come through. Very lively and intens with fabulous refreshing acidity.

Chateau Montus 112
Madiran 2005, France
Attractive bouquet of black fruit shaded with some chocolate and a hint of floral; flavours echo and expand with a deep, dark core of black currant and plum, rich and appealing. Full bodied, well structured and still on the way up, but already delicious. 80% Tannat, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Chateau Mazeyres 120
Pomerol 2008, France
This has a little raft of dark fruits on the nose, with some liquorice elements. The palate has a ripe, supple and smooth composition, with a seamless, elegant presence in the mouth. There is pleasing although restrained fruit, with nice grip underneath. 80% merlot 20% cabernet franc.

Clos Bagatelle La terre de mon pere 130
Saint chinian 2005, France
Cassis with menthol fading away after a while. Chocolate, toasted barrels, hints of smoked ham. Warm dark fruit partly somewhat diminished by oak. Sweet, kind of spicy "grenachity", some pepper, smoked sausage, velvetlike tannins with acid still going strong.

La sirene de giscours 145
Margaux 2008, France
Perfumed red fruits here, notes of violet, quite an attractive nose. A supple palate, with slightly crunchy red-black fruit. Nicely coated midpalate tannins, light in style, but nicely composed. Like the Grand Vin, it offers wine lovers a charming youthfulness and all the generosity of the terroir. 55 % Cabernet Sauvignon 40 % Merlot 5 % Cabernet Franc.
